The Genesis Paradox
entry 02

At some point in existence, there had to be nothing. Not just the absence of matter, but the absence of time, space, energy — even the laws that govern existence. A pure void, beyond comprehension. Because if there was always something, then that "something" would require explanation too. An eternal chain of causes can't stretch back infinitely without reason. Science can trace the unfolding of the cosmos with astound precision — from the birth of stars to the evolution of galaxies, down to the quantum fluctuations of subatomic particles. But even the Big Bang, our only scientific explanation for the universe’s emergence, still does not explain what what in the first place there was to "bang". It describes the unfolding, but not the spark. The question of what lit the match, or even created the match to begin with, remains unanswered. If the first atom, the first particle, the first flicker of energy truly emerged from nothing, it challenges not only logic but the foundational premise of science: "every effect has a cause" or "Matter cannot be created, nor destroyed" And if that rule ever didn't apply, it opens the door to something beyond the physical, something metaphysical. Perhaps existence itself was spoken into being, not by random chance or chaotic fluctuation, but by intention. By a force greater than ourselves, a cosmic being beyond our understanding. A higher being, not merely a god in the mythological sense, but an ultimate source of order, meaning, Science as we currently know it may not be able to explain the creation of the universe, maybe science and religion, as opposite as they may seem, belong side by side in order for us to fully understand reality. To contemplate the universe in a way that utterly questions the laws of science it's self is not ignorant nor mindless — to admit that behind all that is visible, calculable, and nameable, there may dwell something utterly beyond comprehension. Something eternal, not in time, but outside of it. A cause that itself is uncaused. A mind that didn't emerge from matter, but from which matter emerged. This may just mean existence was not just a random chain of events that just happened to lead to this point, but our fundamental quiddity was actually called upon — a monumental jigsaw puzzle starting from one single atom, being carefully constructed by a cosmic entity beyond science it's self.
